About

I enjoy cooking. Especially when it comes to hungry people. I love to experiment with food to make it more tasty. Sometimes that doesn't work out real good but other times you are wanting more when the pan is empty.
Take a look around at some of my creations. I encourage you to take a stab at experimenting with your recipes you just never know when you will find that special ingredient to make you wish you had made more!

***WARNING*** These recipes are not health conscious for the most part...they are cooked with real butter or bacon grease or meat grease or olive oil or shortening. For the most part I use real flour and some sugar (because of my families HIGH risk for diabetes I do use Splenda white & brown on some recipes) but otherwise I figure my grandma lived to be 92 yrs old and cooked with what they consider today as "the wrong things" and I feel that I should continue to carry on the tradition. And plus it tastes better!
Oh, and we are meat eaters!! Balance of the diet is what I try to achieve in our world. Made from scratch is my goal and here I try to make the recipes plain and simple so that even a novice cook can make these recipes.
