Infused Porridge


1 3/4 cup water
1 cup quick oats
honey
1 tbls. butter
Bring water, 1 Tbls. Honey and butter to a boil.

Then add oats and turn down to a simmer. Stir in oats until foaming quits (about  a minute) then simmer just until it feels like it is thickening a bit. Shut off and let sit for about 5 mins. If you want thick like spackle let sit for longer.
Depending on your oats, they will be a little runny or thick.
Honey infused porridge! Enjoy!
I top mine with honey while Mtn man likes brown sugar!
