Mary's Cabbage Rolls

Image
This recipe is my own version of Cabbage Rolls. There are so many different ways to make them by  Googling  them you can see for yourself. Once you have it boiling, let it boil about 15-20 mins this should get all the way thru to the heart of the cabbage. Once done set aside in a strainer/colander to drain excess water off. Better to drain heart side down! While you are boiling the cabbage, start frying up your meat combo(1 lb ground sausage & 1lb of ground burger) add 1 med onion, chopped and add seasoning such as garlic powder & Montreal Steak Seasoning. Cook until done thoroughly. ***Reality is you will probably have cabbage done before the meat is finished. While all your meat and cabbage are cooking put on some rice (1 c white rice to 2 c water) bring to boil then turn down to simmer until water is gone about 20 mins.  Ok then you mix the rice and meat together ...
